For administering midterm and final exams, the college scrupulously adheres to the instructions and regulations published by the affiliated institution.
At the Institution level: An examination committee consisting of a senior teacher as chairperson and other teaching and non-teaching staff members is formed to manage assessment process-related concerns. The teacher provides graded answer scripts to the pupils and addresses any clarifications or complaints. The internal grades are shown on the bulletin board. If students identify a discrepancy, such as an error in a question paper, mark allocation, or correction, the relevant teacher will resolve the discrepancy and make the required adjustments. If a student is dissatisfied with the grades awarded, even after the issue has been settled by the teacher, he may appeal to the HOD involved.
All such representations are accepted and, if necessary, reviewed by another teacher. Parents are notified of their child’s performance time to time.
Exam-failure pupils are advised by the faculty mentor, and remedial classes are held for those students. Students who are missing from internal examinations for a valid reason are given a retest of the Internal Assessment.
