Our Vision

U.V.K College, Karama intends to make this institution a centre of excellence in the field of higher education. A fraternity of responsibilities citizen committed to national development in various fields, scientific endeavor, service to humanity and a society based on mutual respect is the basic vision of this institution.

Our goal is to use education as a means of bringing about social change and to disseminate it amongst those members of society who have been excluded from its benefits over the course of the preceding centuries. This will enable them to take part in the process of building the nation and will help them develop on an individual, social, and national level. This will be accomplished through teaching and learning, the efficient application of technology, the expansion of the knowledge base through research and scholarship, and leadership in service and outreach. Our mission is to create educational settings, opportunities, and experiences that are forward-thinking so that individuals, communities, and the area as a whole can develop, flourish, and become more prosperous.

With this motto this institution is engaged in promoting higher education in this educationally & economically backward region, strategically situated in the vicinity of international borders. Key points of our mission are:

  • With a range of low-cost educational programmes, make great education affordable and available to all students.
  • To provide an equitable chance for education regardless of gender, marital status, skin colour, race, religion, caste, or disability.
  • To keep the lines of communication open through participatory teaching and learning, course evaluations, student forums, and student/faculty conferences, and to create more user-friendly scheduling.
  • Promote education, growth, and information distribution in many disciplines to suit the demands of the local populace.
  • To support the development of students’ personal growth, intelligence, creativity, integrity, leadership, self-reliance, and skill advancement through active involvement in learning and the provision of high-quality education.
  • To expand educational facilities for knowledge transfer, such as libraries, by raising awareness of the significance of reading as a potent instrument for information acquisition and dissemination.
  • To provide rural and urban students without formal schooling with chances for their participation in economic and social life, as well as their full integration into the country’s growth, through non-formal education and skill training.
